MERIDEN — High school seniors were given the opportunity to learn about scholarships last week during Platt and Maloney's Scholarship Fair. The event was organized by Platt and Maloney's high school counseling departments. Different organizations and clubs such as Project Excel, Upward Bound, Members First CT Federal Credit Union, Conntact, Better Business Bureau, the Midstate Chamber of Commerce, and Amici Della Vigna were at the event. Nina Vazquez, Upward Bound coordinator, was giving students information on the Upward Bound Program.
